i was reading the bbc news online today and found an article called, "dutch plan chocolate theme park". the dutch are constructing an underground theme park devoted to charlie and the chocolate factory. it will be near the central train station in amsterdam and will have a glass elevator and chocolate fountain.

I find this very odd, yet somehow fitting. Indeed, you can actually be high while visiting the (almost) real thing!
The Dutch are brilliant. Yet ever the land of earthly delights, a chocolate theme park has broader appeal than, um, strings of opium dens and houses of ill repute. Yes, the Dutch have come to the realization that they could even make more money by luring hoards of fat American tourists to their country. Walt Disney, eat your heart out.
