i took another picture of this guy a couple seconds after i had taken this one and he was covered in birds....he had three on his arm and one on his shoulder, like a pirate. it reminds me of home alone 2 with the scary bird lady, who, in the end, turns out to be completely misunderstood and not so scary afterall. today, i had a guy walk up to me on the great big hill in central park (it's great, i go there pretty much every day after work), show me his drivers license and ask for money. that was great. and yesterday on the subway, i saw a guy wearing puffy renaissance style pants and carrying a lute. that reminded me of ignatius j. reilly and paradise vendors, and now i want to go to new orleans.i've also smelled lots of things...and most are really unpleasant--and prominent in the subway stations--but some scents are nice...like pizza or anything else food related. i've also gotten to hear lots of great things, such as crazy banters by crazy people about how everybody in the world sucks, street performers singing about how much they love the jesus, and indian music in central park every sunday. i've also met some people. last night, i had the priviledge of sitting next to a guy on the subway who was totally into playing air-bass. i'm having a very fine time here in the big city.
